MaryKathryn + Matthew’s first date was at the University of Hartford during a snow storm….in her dorm room, watching movies. MK’s favorite part of the first date was Matthew falling asleep during an awful movie ( Hitman) When he woke up he asked what he missed and she replied not much! MK found out later that on his way back to his car Matthew called his friend. He told them how happy he was. So happy in fact, he didn’t care that snow was leaking into his sneakers! For the proposal MK had gotten home from visiting her friend in Boston. Matthew had been working on a roofing job all weekend. He proposed when she got home in his batman pajamas and had to help him up because he was so sore from working all weekend! They loved the waterfall ceremony site at Wright’s Mill Farm.. as kids they both liked to be outside and play in the woods so this was the perfect venue for them!
