I'm the "baby" in my family which always made me the designated flower girl and that's where my love of weddings began. I got married when I was 19 right before my husband left for bootcamp. We hustled to put a wedding together in less than a month and I forgot to hire a photographer.... We've been married for six years and live in southeastern Connecticut with our two dogs Boston and Lola.
In 2010 the Navy moved us to Virginia Beach where I spent my summer as a camp counselor at the YMCA. Then they shipped us to Miami in 2011 where I did some commercial work for Burger King...that I hated. I switched to teaching Pre-K and worked with military families doing family portraits. Fast forward four years and now I spend 20+ weekends a year celebrating people getting hitched.
On the weekends if I'm not at a wedding you'll probably find me running. It's a love hate relationship but I finished my first half marathon last April. I'm not really into sports but my family would disown me if my clients were a Patriots or Yankee fan. I guess we could work something out though as long as it's our little secret.....but you better love the Bruins!
Most people would describe me as tiny but trust me I can be loud. Have no doubt that my years as a teacher and camp counselor have prepped me to handle your bridal party....one two three eyes on me. I tend to work with couples who put a unique twist on their wedding day and would love to help you with yours!
Bonus, if you incorporate ice cream I think there's potential for us to be best friends.
