Tom and Bobby found each other after swiping right and what started as a casual connection quickly blossomed into a beautiful romance. After a few days of texting and a memorable 1 AM phone call (initiated by Tom after a few cocktails) the pair set up their first date in Cambridge in April 2019. The chemistry between Tom and Bobby became evident during their first date, marked by dinner and a lively game of pool. It was on this occasion that they discovered a shared passion for competition, an aspect of their relationship that continues to thrive—though they still can’t agree on who won that initial game.
Fast forward to February 2022 – Tom was ready to take their journey to the next level. He orchestrated a surprise proposal. The plan was to bring his friend Desuana to see the Boston skyline while she was in town for a visit. Despite the freezing weather along the Boston Harbor, Tom convinced Bobby to take a stroll down the pier after dinner. With the iconic skyline as a backdrop, Tom, braving the cold without gloves, popped the question. The couple then celebrated with a surprise engagement party at Nightshift Brewery, surrounded by their Boston friends and family.
For their wedding, Tom and Bobby chose the Red Barn at Outlook Farm, a venue that checked off their rustic yet elevated vibe they envisioned for their special day. It was the only venue they visited in person because they immediately fell in love (again) another perfect match.
So in the warm summer air of South Berwick Maine, at the idyllic Red Barn at Outlook Farm, Bobby + Tom shared vows in front of their friends and family. The warm hues and soft sunlight, set the stage for a perfect wedding day, even a bit of a sprinkle to add some *luck* We made sure to capture the nuances of Tom + Bobby’s connection, from the tender moments shared in private to the exuberant expressions of love during the ceremony and reception. We documented laughter, tears, and shared glances that made this celebration truly unique. Adding an extra touch of excitement, Tom and Bobby surprised their wedding guests with a drag queen performance, one of the highlights + memorable moments of the celebration!
