Although we both played basketball in high school, we were mere acquaintances until the day that Dalton “slid into Molly’s DMs”on Facebook. After a a long exchange of messages through Facebook, Dalton asked Molly to go to the senior prom with him and the rest is history! More than a decade later, we are still just as crazy about each other and can’t wait to continue creating our love story together.
For the first date, Dalton agreed he would go see the Hannah Montana movie with Molly. Afterward, we went to dinner and the waitress asked if we were a couple or siblings and Molly blurted out “just friends!” Lucky for us, a few weeks later we ended up becoming more than just friends!
We went to the Cape for a weekend away and Dalton wanted to take Molly to the beach for the day. He surprised Molly with a scrapbook filled with memories and photos of the past several years. The last page of the scrapbook said “Will you marry me?” so Dalton dropped to one knee, asked the question and then we celebrated with family and friends. The best part was Dalton’s dad and a couple of my friends were there under cover at the beach capturing photos of the moment!
We both always dreamed of getting married at a barn venue and Zukas checked off all our boxes! It actually was the only place we visited and we booked it immediately. The grounds are so beautiful and we love the rustic vibes!
