“I met Jess at the Mohegan Sun bridal expo and within the first 5 minutes of our conversation, I felt as though she saw the exact vision of what I wanted and from that moment, I knew she had to photograph our wedding!! Jess is very knowledgeable with weddings and was truly so helpful throughout our whole wedding process, not only with photo related information, but we also got a lot of general wedding information from her. She gave us recommendations on other vendors based on her experiences and she was the one who recommended our JP and he did an amazing job! What we really loved about Jess is that she managed to take the most stressful day of our lives and ease that stress right from us. An example of this is that Jess met us at our venue about a month before or wedding ceremony for a walk through to make sure we had the best spots for our pictures. This was helpful for us because it relieved a lot of stress I had on where we would take photos at our wedding. I have not heard of many photographers taking their own time to do such a thing for couples. Another reason is that at our wedding when we taking portraits, she was very attentive and made the process for my husband and I completely stress free. She was very professional while directing where and when our family members would be taking pictures with us. She also followed the portrait list exactly like I had filled it out prior to our wedding, so we got all the photos we really wanted with all our family members. After our wedding, many of our family and friends told us how kind and professional they thought Jess was and they were very pleased with her work. As for our wedding and engagement photos, my husband and I are completely happy with the way our photos turned out! You want a photographer that you can feel comfortable with because your engagement, wedding, and family photos are something that you will cherish for the rest of your life. Jess did a wonderful job making sure that our experience and our photographs were nothing less than the best and exactly what we asked for! Katie + Randy met in high school, when Randy was a senior and she was a freshman. This was actually a “reintroduction” because their parents knew each other since they were babies and had lived next door to each other! Katie’s parents attended Randy’s parents wedding but had lost contact after moving. Fast-forward years later and Katie “met” Randy on MySpace and commented on his page. They went to the movies on their first date to see Stomp The Yard. Randy wanted to hold her hand the whole time but was nervous. After the movie they shared their first kiss though! Their wedding details had hints of Disney which is reminiscent of the proposal. Randy popped the questions inside Cinderella’s castle on a trip to Walt Disney World with their families. Katie had absolutely no idea he was going to propose and after dinner the waiter came out with a glass slipper on a tray. Randy got down on one knee, a truly magical moment. Then, Randy surprised Katie again….her mom was waiting outside after dinner. The two brought along their Mickey ears for their engagement session at Harkness Park. They selected The Inn at Longshore because it’s beautiful even without any wedding decor! Katie cried after they left their initial walkthrough because she couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else #fairytalecometrue
