Kate + Kevin met in West Virginia when Kate went down for grad school. Kate had a new puppy that needed training and she hired Kevin as a dog trainer to come to her house to help train the puppy. They realized they were both originally from Connecticut and hit it off! Their first date involved Mexican food and beer (Kate’s favorite part!)! Before the proposal Kevin paid for Kate to get her nails done with her best friend.  Kate + Kevin had just moved into a new place by a lake. After getting their nails done, they went for a walk with her friend to show her the lake. While down at the lake, Kevin asked Kate to be his for the rest of their lives.
