Erin + Sean met at a local bar on Erin’s 23rd birthday, they instantly clicked and spent hours talking. For the proposal Sean planned a whole day in his hometown of Chicago. Erin had never been before, so he took her around the city to see some of his favorite spots. He proposed at dinner in the Signature Room on the 95th floor in the John Hancock Tower. Erin + Sean live on the coast and they wanted their wedding to have a true New England feel. Most of Sean’s family and friends still live in Chicago so they wanted to show them what coastal Connecticut feels like and Mystic Seaport captured that!
