Rachel and Jake met at the bar! Brookside in Preston. For the proposal, they were living together in Florida and had come back to Connecticut to visit with family. While having dinner with the family outside on the patio Jake came outside holding a tray and said “Rachel look at these cupcakes my Mom made”. When she looked at them it had spelled out “Will you marry me?” and she was completely stunned!! And, of course, said yes! When it came to picking their venue she loved the old vintage feel of the mansion. It’s beautiful and elegant.
